Key Responsibilities
Participate in Mechanical-Related Matters Throughout the Project Lifecycle:
1. Mechanical Design in Early Stages: Contribute to the mechanical design of
potential projects during the early stages. This includes 2D drafting, structural frame
design, and assisting with 3D modeling. Ensure all projects comply with local and
international regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
2. Primary Responsibility for Mechanical Design: Take primary responsibility for the
mechanical design aspects of projects, managing planning, implementation,
monitoring, and control to achieve expected outcomes.
3. Lifecycle Involvement: Engage in all mechanical-related activities throughout the
project lifecycle. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all mechanical design
documentation. Manage and coordinate mechanical design work across all project
phases from initiation to completion, ensuring projects proceed according to plan and
remain within budget.
4. Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies by identifying, assessing,
and developing mitigation plans to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to
understand requirements, provide project status updates, and promptly address any
risks or issues that arise during the project.
6. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in
mechanical engineering technology to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
7. Post-Shipment Support: Update drawings and related documentation after project
shipment. Monitor post-delivery performance, proactively identifying and resolving
any issues.
Position Requirements
1. Educational Background and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are
preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
2. Professional Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with VDA design processes.
3. Language Skills:
English proficiency as a working language.
4. Personal Qualities:
Excellent teamwork and a proactive attitude towards work.
Willingness to travel overseas and work in different cultural environments.
