As a Configuration Manager Expert, you will enhance our customers' CMDB experience through enabling access to data bringing value add to their business, but also streamlining the system usage (automation). You will discover new interactions between the data centre infrastructure and the business side of things.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain the logical and physical service configurations of the infrastructure located into datacentres and drive configuration management processes and tools evolution.
Assure proper integration with the build and change management processes to guarantee data completeness and accuracy.
Analyse CMDB data, identifying gaps, errors or inconsistencies in the loaded information, monitor the availability and accuracy of the infrastructure discovery tool and the data flow into CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Develop and deploy automation scripts to improve and expand discovery capabilities.
Arrange, lead and document regular review meetings.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge of Data Centre IT standards, processes and architecture with a focus on infrastructure configuration management.
Strong understanding of ITIL
Experience with infrastructure scanning tools such as BMC Discovery
Previous experience or knowledge of service management practices
Understanding of data centre infrastructure
Architecture and design knowledge in Network, NoSQL DB and public cloud
