Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to identify new business opportunities within the global automation industry.
Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, including OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends; leverage this information to tailor sales strategies.
Achieve or exceed annual sales targets by effectively managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Provide technical consultations to potential customers, demonstrating how our products and solutions can meet their specific requirements.
Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, and after-sales service to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Offer pre-sales technical support, including solution design, application engineering, and product demonstrations.
Stay current with the latest advancements in automation technology and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to customers.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving post-sale technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on project progress and promptly addressing any concerns.
Build strong partnerships with customers through effective communication and understanding of their business objectives.
Analyze market data and prepare reports that highlight market trends, competitive analysis, and business opportunities.
Provide feedback to internal teams on market dynamics and customer feedback to guide product development and marketing efforts.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales within the automation industry, with international exposure preferred.
Proven track record of developing and expanding business within the industrial automation sector.
Deep understanding of automation technologies and applications, including PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, and control systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Proficiency in CRM software and tools used for sales tracking and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
English proficiency as a working language; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are advantageous.
