• Provide strategic input for the planning, evaluation, and execution of production migration phases, including software code and network modifications.
• Monitor and optimize the availability and performance of production systems and applications.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests within agreed SLAs, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Modify and adapt existing software solutions to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
• Perform impact analysis and develop technical solutions to resolve complex incidents and advanced technical issues.
• Regularly identify and implement opportunities for automation to streamline operations.
• Perform daily health checks, ensuring platforms and services in support remain robust and efficient.
• Provide advanced technical support for BSS applications, maintaining on-call availability to troubleshoot and restore services during critical incidents.
• Coordinate software updates, patches, and configuration changes across production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, QA, IT) to design and implement proactive solutions.
• Maintain long-term relationships with internal and external partners to ensure SLA compliance and network service improvements.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, DevOps principles, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting application issues on Linux servers.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control systems (e.g., Git), and workload schedulers (e.g., Control-M).
• Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and APIs for scalable deployments.
• Solid understanding of programming and scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Familiarity with IP networking, telecom architecture, and protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English.
